ANZA Bazaar was FUN-TASTIC

May 6th, 2008

We left the house at 7 am to Ritz Carlton in Kuningan and our stand was ready by 8 am .. the bazaar started at 9 am, during that 1 hour free time I met some interesting new friends . Slow start at the beginning (still 3 in 1 time) but after 10 am it was packed !

I brought 300 cuppies consists of Chocolate, Vanilla, Strawberry, Orange & Poppyseed, Oreo Cookies and Dulche de leche. Got some nice comments for the cuppies taste and appearance (yipeeee) & my sillicon happy feet (the one in blue, orange & yellow) was getting lots of attention too .. everybody asked about them .. thank you, Ani !!

By 12 noon I only left with half dozen standard cuppies and 8 large individual packed cuppies .. yaaayyyy .. time for me to do some shopping too

Dulce de Leche

My hubby is Argentinian so he grew up with dulce de leche (sweet caramel). After baking soooo many batches of caramel-cuppies-wannabe finally I can make the most irresistible cuppie with caramel frosting (also after several trial & error *grin*), this one is super Delicioso !

PS. I made dulce de leche from scratch, my mother in law taught me how (^_^)

Vanilla On the Go

These pretty one was ready to go … last minute snap, not the best quality photos but I’m soooo happy I took this shot !!!

They were vanilla cuppies with vanilla buttercream for Leah Hubby, half an hour after I sent them out for delivery my lunch guests were arriving in our home … pheeewww .. that was close !

Pretty Cookies

My love of baking started with my very first batch of vanilla cookies made from scratch, it was my signature cookies back in 2003. I tried so many different recipes afterwards, loving every single one of them but always prefer to bake cookies than cake (except for Toblerone brownies .. hehe). When my daughter was born I have no time to bake cute cookies anymore, she’s taking all my time pretty much (I only have 2 hrs of sleep till she’s 6 months old !) then I baked cakes more often, its easy to whip one batch of medium cake, decorate and ready to serve.

Last November on my daughter 2nd birthday was my first attempt on making pretty cupcakes and I am hooked, I’ve been baking soooo many batches of cupcakes that I lost counts by now

Suddenly, today .. out of the blue.. I ‘m craving for my butter cookies with icing on top .. I baked them with no hesitation just now, large size (my fave) with royal icing on top .. yuuummmmyyy …. anybody wants cookies ?

Love Chocolate

During my Bapindo Bazaar days (4 days in a row .. arrggghhh, such a crazy days !) I created this chocolate cuppies line, they are drop-dead-gorgeous .. I’m using swirl on top to match the lines pattern on the cupcakes paper .. love IT !

Royal Love

These are my new love to royal icing .. beware, you’ll see many cuppies with royal icing coming up.

Flower Power

These are made from Royal Icing, I’m getting ready for my Mother’s Day Cuppie theme.

Spent the whole Sunday making them, must say that Royal Icing is very tricky to work (they’re drying FAST in my mixing bowl !) but the result is worth it .. I just found my new passion here ;o)
